Welcome to the Danville-Boyle County Chamber of Commerce home page!  Through the pages of our website, we invite you to explore the many facets of our chamber.  From its many firsts -the location of the first Courthouse in Kentucky (1785), the first U.S. Post Office west of the Alleghenies (1792), the first Capital of Kentucky (1785), and the first Political Club in the West (1786) - to its modern designation as one of the nation's outstanding retirement and most beautiful communities in the United States, Danville has been a city determined to fashion its own future.

The results of that determination are evident in its planned industrial and economic growth, the cooperative spirit of its public and private sectors, the commitment to its colleges and schools, its outstanding medical facilities, and its commitment to the highest possible quality of life for all of its citizens.
